Making things has always been a part of who I am.

My family are all creative in some way - although not necessarily in conventional artistic ways. They have taught me to see “art” in almost everything. Whether it be in a spider’s web or a wheel bearing. Art, design, pattern are ubiquitous - so much so that sometimes we don’t see it. William Morris said, “ Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
It is a very good dictum to live by.
